Our Story

Mrs. Erin's Tutoring Services was birthed from a question that came to me while reading Proverbs 31, "What am I already doing for my family that can be used to bless others?"   

I am a home-schooling mom of three rowdy boys; two of whom are Dyslexic.  I learned very quickly that if I was going to teach my boys how to read, I was going to need to teach them how they learn.   ​

In  2023, I opened a small tutoring center in Amador County, CA, with the intent of helping children become stronger readers; and in 2025, I became a Certified Dyslexic Tutor to do just that.

The purpose of this tutoring center is encourage children to become stronger readers by teaching them how they learn, as well as, encourage parents to keep focusing on their child's strengths.
