Our Story

Mrs. Erin's Tutoring Services was birthed from a question that came to me while reading Proverbs 31, "What am I already doing for my family that can be used to bless others?"   

Hello, this is my precious family.  I am a stay-at-home mom of three rowdy boys.  Two of my sons have dyslexia and out of that struggle has grown a compassion for struggling readers, as well as, a desire to educate parents.

​Before I became a mom, I graduated high school and went on to study early childhood education.   I have worked as a classroom aid, an afterschool program coordinator, a teacher to my children and now the sole proprietor of a small tutoring center in Amador County, CA.  Most recently, I became certified in the Orton-Gillingham Approach to reading, which is tailored specifically for children with Dyslexia.

The purpose of this tutoring center is to not only help your child succeed in school, but to build them up, as well as, support you, the parent, in your child's educational journey. Let's embrace learning together.
